MCSMA Meeting

  • 19 Oct 2017
  • 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
  • Parsippany Public Library 449 Halsey Rd. Parsippany

If you are a school librarian that would like your students, teachers, administrators and parents to have a clearer understanding of the role of you and your library in the development of the children in your community, then this workshop is for you!   Using Simon Sinek’s Golden Circle concept, participants will define the “why” of their library and positions, leading to a better way of communicating the goals and objectives that will help them secure the needed resources, participation of students and buy-in from teachers.  Come work with other librarians from the county at the first professional development session of the school year.   Certificates will be given upon completion.

Date:  Thursday, October 19

Time: 4:00-4:30 pm  Meet and Greet,    4:30-6:00 pm   Workshop

Location: Parsippany Public Library, 449 Halsey Rd.  Parsippany, NJ

Presenter: Stephen Cullis, Randolph High School

This session is free to members (membership opportunity is available at the workshop) and $10 for nonmembers.  MCSMA annual membership fee ($15)  is waived for all first-year librarians.
